This past weekend, the NFLPA held its Rookie Premiere in Los Angeles, CA. The event provided football fans with their first look at some of the 2026 NFL draft’s popular prospects in the uniforms of their new teams.
For the Chargers, their fourth-round pick, wide receiver Brenen Thompson, represented the team at the event.
Check him out below, donning the infamous powder blue jersey with his number 89.
An explosive weapon, Thompson should provide a spark to Los Angeles’ offense as he is a deep threat with a blazing 4.26 40-yard dash time to stretch the field and can outpace defenders in the open field with great acceleration and track-star speed.
