Why can't we have multiple capital letters in a row in the title of a thread?

I made I thread, the title of which should have read;

TCB

An acronym for; Taking Care of Business
Instead, it reads,

Tcb

Not the same!

You can not even make a thread that says, KOC!
Instead, it will read, Koc!

Correct this idiocy.
Please?

Not true -- I have one with CIA in the title on the P & R board. I'm pretty sure there's an MLB one too. Maybe it has to 'recognize' the acronym. Like CIA, NBA, NFL, NATO etc. Won't take 'slang' though?

It won't do it if that's all there is. You have to have at least ONE lowercase letter. Like, had he done TCoB, it would have been fine. At least, I believe that's my understanding. You can't make posts in all caps, either. (I have seen people get around this, though. Not sure how)

OK -- you're right, Linder. A phrase like 'Panetta to CIA' or 'MLB Network' will work as a thread title, but punctuation (MLB! CIA?) is not sufficient. Mods/techs feel free to delete my two test threads.

Try it again.

I THINK I found out where to fix it, but the configuration instructions are a bit vague.
