Brayden McNabb's shot ended up in the back of the net.
The Vegas Golden Knights skated along the bench, celebrating a goal. But in the end, the goal didn't count at the end of the first period in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Carolina Hurricanes.
The officials went to the replay, reviewed it, and ruled no goal.
The Hurricanes maintained a 3-1 lead after one, rather than the Golden Knights cutting it in half.
The Golden Knights hold a 2-1 series lead, but Carolina is trying to even it up.

Why didn't Brayden McNabb's goal count?
The key in the NHL is that the puck has to be across the line before the clock gets to 0.0.
In the NBA, the shot just has to be off the hand.
In the NHL, the puck has to be all the way across the line.
McNabb's shot wasn't across the line, so that was all it took for that not to count.
