The Cardinals head coach carousel will continue until ownership becomes willing to make investments in the team a bigger priority than investment in outside business interests.

Until then, we might as well pick a head of lettuce as our next coach because he will inevitably get chopped.

Couldn’t be any worse than the current “brain trust.”

Salah is a terrible game coach and want great with the program building side of things either

I know the Jets are the Jets, but I didn't see anything there that exhibited traits to be the guy

The argument for him is he won 7 games with Zach Wilson as QB but he definitely had a learning curve. Great DC I don't think he proved he's a great HC but I would say he's better than what we've seen from Gannon.

Have to have a good OC.

Salah would be a horrifically stupid hire, yet the most “Cardinal” thing to do.

It wouldn’t shock me if Salah becomes a great HC. I can completely see a scenario where he coaches up a team and goes deep (conference championship or SB).

However, this organizations problem is the Bidwill family.

This family has made more than enough here in the desert.

The Cardinal organization was worth $350 million (ish) in the twilight of the 90’s. The stadium (which they kicked in a whooping $80 million for) costed $500 million to build (which all of us pay for).

In no time they were worth $2 billion.

Last I looked they were safely worth north of $4 billion.

I wished I could have chipped in $5k for the stadium in that was gonna be my my ROI.

I don’t support the cardinals near as much as I support good professional football.

I would hate Saleh coming here. We need an offensive minded HC, especially with a young QB coming on board. Unless you're Mike Vrabel and have Josh Daniels at your disposal.

Look at all the young QB's showing improvement. Caleb with Johnson, Nix with Payton, Maye with McDaniels, even Bryce Young with Canales. Love learned under LaFleur. Purdy has had Shanahan. Daboll was fired but at least Dart has had him and Kafka to help him.

I mentioned him in another thread, maybe this one, but I'd look at Bill O'brien. He's had pretty good success as a NFL (4 playoffs in 7 years and only 1 losing record), did a great job at PSU under those circumstances, was McDaniels in NE prior to Josh, and was OC under 2 of the best coaches of all time in Saban and Belichick. I know he's struggled at BC but that's a different playing field with NIL and such.

Ryan Day had hired him at OSU to be their OC but he then got offered the BC job and left OSU. He's pretty highly regarded offensively.
