Who should be the Nashville area's TSSAA baseball midseason player of the year?
That's up to you. Vote in our poll below for your favorite choice. We whittled down our list of top players at midseason to a select few.
Voting will close April 18 at noon.
Kaden Powell, Beech, Sr.: Powell, a Kentucky signee, is batting .321 with 17 hits, 20 RBIs and six home runs. He also is 2-1 on the mound with a 1.02 ERA, 23 strikeouts and 10 walks in 13.2 innings pitched.

Joey Ansell, Brentwood Academy, Sr.: Ansell, a Kentucky signee, is 4-0 on the mound with 41 strikeouts, 20 walks and a 0.52 ERA in 27 innings.
Bo Holloway, Christ Presbyterian Academy, Sr.: Holloway, a left-handed Vanderbilt signee, is 4-0 on the mound with 41 strikeouts, four walks and a 0.96 ERA in 21.2 innings.
Gunner Skelton, Columbia Academy, Sr.: The Vanderbilt signee has 41 strikeouts in 24.1 innings pitched with .575 ERA. He's batting .379 with 25 RBIs, eight doubles, six home runs and 18 stolen bases.
Jack Beck, Columbia, Sr.: Beck, a Georgia Southern signee, is batting .419 with 20 RBIs, four doubles, four triples, six home runs and 13 stolen bases.
Grady Callaway, Davidson Academy, So.: Callaway is batting .471 with seven home runs and 23 RBIs.
Brody Gleason, Eagleville: The senior is 4-1 with a 1.00 ERA and 27 strikeouts in 21 innings while hitting .408 with five doubles, two triples, two homers, 19 RBIs and 10 runs.
Carter Hullett, Ensworth, Jr.: Hullett, a Louisville commitment, is batting .400 with five doubles, five home runs and 19 RBIs.
Brayden Stringer, Friendship Christian, Sr.: Stringer is batting .457 with seven home runs, 19 RBIs, 20 runs scored and nine stolen bases. He’s also 3-2 on the mound with one save, holding a 1.38 ERA with 32 strikeouts in 25.1 innings.
Jack Dugan, Lipscomb Academy, Sr.: Dugan, a Tennessee signee, is batting .540 with seven doubles, one triple, eight home runs, 20 RBIs and 27 runs scored.
Cayden King, MTCS, Sr.: The senior pitcher and Texas A&M signee is 3-1 with a 1.50 ERA and 31 strikeouts in 18.2 innings while averaging .386 with four doubles, four homers, 20 runs and 20 RBIs.
Evan McElvain, Nolensville, Sr.: McElvain, a Duke signee, is batting .357 with nine doubles, two home runs, 12 RBIs and 18 walks.
Michael Holt, Ravenwood, Sr.: Holt, a Vanderbilt signee, is batting .408, with 31 hits, nine doubles, six home runs and 24 RBIs.
Stephen Bobo, Shelbyville, Sr.: Bobo, a Vanderbilt signee, is batting .579 with 22 hits, five RBIs and three doubles in 13 games. He’s also 1-0 on the mound with 20 strikeouts and three walks in 9.2 innings.
Drew Hostetler, Siegel, Sr.: Hostetler, a Lincoln Memorial signee, is batting .545 with 48 hits, five doubles, eight triples, four home runs, 28 RBIs, 39 runs scored and 25 stolen bases.
Caleb Cayce, White House Heritage, Sr.: Cayce, a Tennessee Wesleyan signee, is batting .438 with 21 hits, eight doubles, one triple, 15 runs scored and 10 stolen bases. He’s also 4-1 on the mound with 39 strikeouts, six walks and one save.
