With all due respect Harry, I watched every game Allar played in and I'm not saying he doesn't have warts however a lot of those warts are fixable. Every QB who played for Franklin at PSU either was stagnant or declined in each succeeding year. There were times when Allar looked like a top of the line QB and others where he looked pretty damn bad. Add in a offense that did not play to his strengths and a WR corp that was fairly sub-standard at the college level and it's not a recipe for success. He was a lousy coach, but that doesn’t mean Allar is a good QB.
The real question you have to ask yourself with Allar is can I take him and iron out the inconsistency most of which are footwork and learning to go through progressions better or is he so far gone that you can never bring him back.
I guess I see a lot more potential than you do in Allar.
