Here’s the full game Indiana vs. Miami:
If you don’t have time for the full game, here’s the INT by Beck in the final moments of the Indy-Miami championship game:

As is always the case, plenty of plays that determined the outcome. Blocked punt. D could not stop Indy on two fourth down plays that went for the go ahead flying Medoza TD. That INT that ended Miami’s comeback hope stands out since it came at the very end. Did it highlight the injured arm of Beck? The WR was behind coverage, but it required a ball to the goal line. Did the WR not cut off the route and/or at least contest the INT? Did Beck overestimate his arm thinking he could beat the coverage?
Both QBs were on the radar for the Cards with the Raiders getting first choice by virtue of their #1 pick. Note that other QB-needy teams passed on Beck and he was there in the 3rd round. Cards took a RB and a OG ahead of a QB who played in the college championship game. Is that the value the Cards placed on Beck—did they ‘take a flyer’ on him with the 3rd down pick?
