Malik Willis has zero elite traits.
Even when he was in the draft process, his character and leadership was talked about as being high level/elite. That's a big change from Kyler. But, I agree, not sure there are many elite passing traits. I really haven't seen enough of him and my judgement on QB's is usually wrong. So, I'll say he'll be terrible and hope my track record holds up :D.

Rodgers was a first round pick that was drafted by the Packers.

Love was a first round pick that was drafted by the Packers.

Willis was a 3rd round pick by the Titans who gave up on him despite still needing a franchise QB.

The situations are not the same.

Cards are going to sign him because our HCs brother said so.

They put themselves in a position, through a series of poor decisions, where they have not left themselves many options.

His pocket presence and 2nd level/deep ball passing are much better than Kyler on the little film there is from the last 2 years. There's just so little of it.

It's very different being the guy every week vs a backup.

Point is they all benefitted by sitting for a year or two. I know it’s a small sample size but it appears Willis might have too.
I’d rather watch him than Flacco.

Well it ain't WIllis. How TF are the Fins finding the money?

Good, I wouldn't have minded a cheap dice roll but for $45m guaranteed and 3 years? No thanks.

I think the Cards were saved from themselves by Miami. Miami could end up being Kolbed or,going way back, Longleyed by signing Willis.

He may turn out to be great but I doubt it.
Yea Willis took the money, but he's going to wind up Justin Fields himself. Cause the Dolphins have gutted the roster and will be in position for the one of the top QBs.

Except they could potentially allow a Dante Moore to sit a year before getting Willis off the books.
