After what I read from the combine my feeling right now is that we will trade JB purely because they feel like they can get something for him in an otherwise dead year and with only a year left on his deal.

And that the QB room will be Malik Willis and Jimmy G, and possibly a low round rookie.

How will this team be able to afford Willis when they're still obligated to pay Kyler's high salary?

Willis is one running play big hit from getting hurt. I cringed looking at his film. He will get hurt bad playing here. I can see it.

Garapollo doesn’t make sense with Brissett on the roster.
Perhaps if the rumors about teams being interested in Brissett is true it would make sense.
IMHO we stick ( or stuck) with Brissett and pray we can find a diamond in the rough in the second round.
Draft Love add a couple of o-line free agents and let’s go.

As a rookie prospect to add to the fold, I like Sawyer Robertson the Baylor QB and believe the Cards spent some time with him at the combine

Kurt Warner is the nicest guy there is. He’s telling us without saying it that Malik ain’t it. And the idea of 30 mil a year for this player is insanity. 28 drop backs? That’s it? That’s like us watching Brissett the first half of the Colts game and deciding he deserves 30 mil a year. It’s just crazy.

And bc his sample size is so small, it should be off the charts, not just average to good.

Heck Tommy DeVito’s first 4 games and stats with the Giants are way more impressive than Willis’:

Tommy Devito
  • 52 / 74 (70% completion)
  • 681 yards
  • 7 TD
  • 1 INT
  • ~112 passer rating

It will be so Cards to give this clown $30million.

Dude has done nothing to deserve this type of pay.

Garapollo hasn’t been a starter for 3 years. He is also made of glass and would be injured after week 3 with this terrible Oline.

The Cards aren't signing Willis or any other FA that is in demand.

My choice for the Cards QB is the same guy I wanted last year, Jameis Winston.
At least you know we will be able to score and have amazing long plays with that dude.

We just won’t be able to protect him.

I am just hoping MLF is the offensive genius everyone says he is.

There is a lot of buzz that we're going to trade Jacoby to the Falcons for a day 3 pick, or maybe a pick swap.

Makes sense for them. Penix is fragile, probably won't be ready week 1, and frankly looked worse than Jacoby.

I still think it's Willis, there's a lot of smoke around and people certain it's the Cards.
Could the jimmy g talk be a bluff to Willis to keep his salary demands in check? ….i also wonder if bidwill isn’t pushing for Simpson for peanuts….after blowing all that money on Murray for nothing???

I thought this was so funny at first.....and then it hit me...those "chicks" are probably 30+ish, which make them "hot" because I'm old...:(

Who's really paying for HBO max?? You need to say it...COME ON, SAAAY IT!!! LOL
I’m paying for HBO, though it doesn’t like my dial up modem. I also just acquired a nice piece of land in South Florida. They tell me it’s right on the water.

Man...if Monti can get a 4th for Brissett, it might be the best move he has made as a GM.
