Cousins 5-3 this season with a 48.0 QBR.

Brissett 1-11 with a 41.7 QBR.

At least with one guy you can make the argument you’re trying to compete.
One guy had Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier, and the other had Michael Carter, Bam Knight, and... (had to look it up to remind myself) Corey Kiner.

And the Falcons' D was middle of the pack (19/15) vs. the Cards' bottom of the barrel (29/27).

lol you're just a OSU troll at this point. The moment you say something nice about a Penn State player, I'll fall dead of a heart attack. I'm just Sayin.

How about he listens to his coach. You know, to his downfall, like when his QB killer coach tells him not to go to the Manning passing camp.
I said lots of nice things about Abdul Carter last year. Also liked their LT. There are lots of good PSU players. Allar isn't one of them.
Pretty funny you call me an OSU homer. I'm as critical of them as anyone.

Yeah… I’d go Flacco as the stop-gap if we’re able to draft a QB in round 1.

Brissett has filled in admirably, but he stinks end of day and if I have a rookie, I’d rather have him learn from winner/champion like Flacco who can still sling it on occasion than a journeyman backup who lost 12 of his last 13 games for the team.
Hadn’t thought of that. Kinda like it.

You're in wait and see mode on Sayin, right? Ah, no.

I'm critical of a lot of PSU players. Allar has enough to be critical about. To be so obtuse as to say he is a nothingburger is to overlook his situation. You very well know better.

Christian Hackenburg's demise could be a result of Franklin because he could actually play and looked very good as a Freshman under O' Brien. Allar has never looked any good and was never a good QB. I'm still waiting for something he did well when it came to passing the football other than, he's tall and has a strong arm.

As for Sayin, I'm definitely on a wait and see. But he was a Heisman finalist in his 1st year as a starter and could actually pass the football. He could regress but I expect him to improve and be a top 5 pick next year. Allar's career is likely to follow Tune to the UFL.

I heavily equate Hackenburg and Allar. Allar had great raw talent coming in and you could tell he just needed molded by a good, nurturing offensive mind. Unfortunately he had a freaking QB killer HC.

This is the first time I'm seeing anyone (even PSU fans) go to bat for Allar. That dude has some serious stink on him after last season.

Yes he does. No one is advocating spending a premium pick on him. The discussion has evolved (devolved) to whether or not he has any value as a QB prospect at all. An objectively idiotic question.

such a missed opportunity.
all you had to do was say, "well, Allar has great prototypical size and a decent cannon of an arm"

was that hard?

you need to pay attention. There were folks going to bat for him last year...another year with franklin dimmed his prospects but the raw talent is still there.
