I think that's the issue with Willis (or Cousins or Mac Jones).

Any QB you bring to AZ is immediately going to perform less well than they did at their previous stop.

Look what happen to poor Geno Smith when he went to from SEA to LV.

We don't have the same infrastructure around our QB as does GB.

So I don’t get it. Should we just not try to upgrade at Qb?

Let’s play what if.

What if we do release Gannon. The new head coach REALLY wants a guy like Willis. Are we just going to write him off the bat as crazy?

No Slan, you're right, we have to.

But we've kind of painted ourselves into a corner, and I'm not sure we have any very good QB1 options for 2026.

So whatever plan we implement for 2026 should also have a built in escape hatch.

It bugs me Denver can make a mistake with Wilson, eat a bunch of cap, operate like nothings wrong and now win a division
All the while we lament about how to move on from Kyler.

While losing draft picks for getting Payton and Wilson.

We did lose a pick for getting Gannon though...

I'm in for Famous Jameis as the stop gap. I wouldn't be surprised if the Giants let him go and if they don't we could probably get him for a 6th or something.

We should offer the Raiders Murray and a pick swap. Worst they can say is no...we might end up picking 3rd ..so they still get the best non QB in the draft.

Mendoza is going #1 to someone. He seems like a great kid

Likely the Raiders though some think the West Coast connections for Moore might attract them. If so Jets will gladly settle for Mendoza.

In 2026 the Cardinals next QB will be Jacoby, some other Vet to compete with Jacoby, and a 2nd-4th roundish draft pick. QBOTF won't be on the team in 2026.

You know what, fudge it, I'll say it: If we can't trade up to get Mendoza and Moore falls to 3, just draft him. Who knows? He's the 2nd best prospect and you gotta take swings.
I think they are locks to go 1-2.

Flacco, for a fun tank year and draft the future next year!

Joe Flacco told reporters he isn’t considering retirement and wants to play in 2026.
Flacco finished out the season as Cincinnati’s backup quarterback after Joe Burrow returned from injury in Week 13. The soon-to-be 41-year-old told reporters he’s open to staying on as Burrow’s backup, but also open to fielding calls from a team that needed a quarterback next season. It sounds like Flacco has yet another One Last Job season loading for 2026.

Posted this on another thread. If we could swap 1st round picks sign me up. Most of these reports are so bogus though.
