Chloe Stasinos is the newest winner of the Old Colony Memorial Athlete of the Week poll. The Plymouth North sophomore pitcher got the victory May 7, pitching all five innings in a 16-2 victory over Scituate. She was also 3-for-5 at the plate with three RBI and a run scored.

Stasinos received 58.97 percent of the votes. Congratulations to Chloe and all the other nominees. And thanks as always to everyone that took a moment to help us highlight a few of our deserving local athletes.

It is the final week of the regular season, and everyone is putting out their best effort to finish on a high note and possibly delay that summer vacation time just a little bit with an extended tourney journey.
