Hanover High's Will Davidson has been voted the South Shore High School Male Athlete of the Week.

Davidson received more than 54,200 votes to earn the honor. Davidson threw a complete-game 2-hitter with 11 strikeouts and 3 walks in the baseball team's 8-1 win over Whitman-Hanson. He came back the next day and slugged a pair of home runs and drove in 5 runs in a 12-0 victory over Quincy that was shortened to 5 innings by the mercy rule.

Teddy Glynn, Norwell boys lacrosse​


Glynn had 5 goals and an assist in a 21-4 win over Hull.

Gus Greene, Cohasset boys lacrosse​


Greene had a hat trick and recorded his 300th career point in an 18-1 win over Plymouth South.

Danny Kenney, Plymouth North baseball​


Kenney pitched a 2-hit shutout with 13 strikeouts as North clinched a Div. 1 playoff berth with a 5-0 win over Silver Lake.

Nathan Killion, Archbishop Williams baseball​


Killion starred in a couple of extra-inning losses. First, he was 4-for-5 with a triple, a walk, 2 runs and 2 RBIs against Bishop Stang (15-11 loss in 9 innings). Then he hit a 3-run home run against Bishop Fenwick (9-8 loss in 10 innings).

Cam McKenna, Hingham boys lacrosse​


McKenna scored twice in a 15-1 win over Plymouth South and then struck for 5 goals in a 16-5 victory over Whitman-Hanson.

Brody Noonan, Hanover baseball​


Noonan hit two home runs, including a grand slam, and had 5 RBIs in an 8-1 win over Plymouth South.

Matt Rutter, Braintree boys lacrosse​


Rutter completed a hat trick by scoring in overtime to beat Weymouth, 8-7.

Owen Shom, Weymouth baseball​


Shom struck out 8 in pitching a complete game in a 4-1 win over Braintree.

Sam Szczesny, Duxbury baseball​


Szczesny threw a Senior Night no-hitter with 7 strikeouts to lead the Dragons to an 8-2 win over Silver Lake.

Braxton Werner, Plymouth South baseball​


Werner was 2-for-3 with a grand slam and 6 RBIs in a 14-8 win over Scituate.
