And now, the end is near … so it is time for you to vote for the Old Colony Memorial’s MVP for the spring sports season.

The success of Plymouth South’s track and field was a highlight of the season. It swept the Patriot League dual meet boys and girls titles and took home the MVP on both sides while picking up an amazing 14 all-star selections.

Plymouth North came away with two league MVP’s of its own in Class of 2026 graduates Willow Herndon (girls track and field) and Danny Kenney (baseball).

Rising Tide also made the headlines when the Herons softball team won the program’s first league title.

All of the nominees can stand on their own and deserve to be applauded. We are asking you to make the call and pick who you thought did it best.

Without any further ado, here are your nominees for the Old Colony Memorial Spring MVP. Vote early and vote often!

Lilia Davies, Sr., Plymouth South girls track and field

On her way to throw the shot put and discus for Bridgewater State University, Davies went out with a bang by winning MVP of the Patriot League’s Fisher Division. She departed Plymouth South with the school record in the shot put (37’8”) and is second in school history in the discus (125' 7").

Nathan Dudley, Sr., Plymouth South boys tennis

Dudley had another great season for the Panthers. He set the table at first singles as South put together a great 12-5 season, finishing a game behind Scituate High in the Fisher Division while advancing to the round of 16 in the state tournament.

Alanna Flanders, Sr., Rising Tide softball

The Cape and Islands Softball MVP for the second season in a row, the pitching of Flanders was a huge reason the Herons won the first league title in program history. She will play at Bridgewater State next year.

Kaylee Gendron, Jr., Plymouth South softball

Gendron earned every bit of the Patriot League MVP award she won this season. She was rock solid in the pitching circle and added some impressive power swings in the middle of the batting order with several home runs this season.

Willow Herndon, Sr., Plymouth North girls track and field

All Herndon did was win her third Patriot League MVP award in as many track and field seasons. Herndon was part of the 4x100 relay team that placed sixth in the Division 2 finals. She also placed fourth in the 200 meter dash.

Danny Kenney, Sr., Plymouth North baseball

Before heading off to Salve Regina, Kenney left Plymouth North with a season to remember on the baseball diamond. He took home the Patriot League MVP award and led the Blue Eagles to the Keenan Division title. He had a record of 6-1, allowing only five earned runs all season with an earned run average of .669 and 65 strikeouts.

Stella Kirkpatrick, Sr., Plymouth North girls lacrosse

The reigning OCM Plymouth North Female Athlete of the Year capped off her high school athletic run with her second Patriot League All-Star selection in a row.

Nixen McNeil, Soph., Plymouth South boys track and field

Only a sophomore, the Patriot League Fisher Division MVP is well on his way to cementing his name in the school’s track and field record book. McNeil won the 400 and 400H at the Patriot League championship. He went on to take fourth in the 400 hurdles at the Division 3 finals and wrapped up the spring season at the Meet of Champions with a ninth place finish in the 400H and a 17th in the 400 dash.

Lily Meyer, Sr., Plymouth North girls tennis

Meyer was the steadying force at first singles for the Blue Eagles. She was named a Patriot League all-star for the second year in a row.

Paul Miraglia, Fr., Plymouth North boys tennis

Miraglia is going to be a player to watch going forward after securing the first singles spot for the Blue Eagles as well as a place on the Patriot League All-Star team in his first varsity season.

Dylan Monteiro, Jr., Plymouth North boys track and field

Monteiro came up big at the Division 2 finals, winning the 800-meter dash in a school record time of 1:54.75. He was chosen as an all-star during the winter and spring track seasons.

Elizabeth Nyberg, Sr., Plymouth South girls tennis

Nyberg put an exclamation point on an outstanding athletic and academic career at Plymouth South, earning a spot on the girls tennis all-star team for a third straight year.

Logan Perry, Sr., Plymouth North boys lacrosse

The Springfield College commit made a big mark in the program despite only playing two seasons for the Eagles. He eclipsed 100 career points and 100 career goals this season while helping lead Plymouth North to the second round of the Division 2 state tournament.

The poll includes players from Plymouth North, Plymouth South, and the Rising Tide Charter School. Votes are unlimited. Voting closes each Sunday at noon. Emailed votes will not be counted.
