Breakfast sammich. English muffin, eggs, cheese, and sausage. I also like hashbrowns covered with chili, cheese and sour cream. That's pretty much the extent of my early morning culinary skills.

It's yummy. There's a diner in Seattle that I used to get that from all the time. They also have omelets that come in 2 sizes, 6 eggs and 12 egg. I've only had the 6 egg ones.

bacon, egg and cheese burrito from filbertos

Filbertos is scary. One day I ate there and they had a dog tied up out back. A few days later I went back and THE DOG WAS GONE?!?!

Best breakfast:

Corned beef hash and eggs from Country House in Tucson. Its served on one of those huge platter sized plates like you serve a turkey on. Eggs over medium tons of hash browns and two slices of rye toast slathered in butter.

At central and Camelback? There is a bertos of some sort one block south of Camelback, Losbertos maybe, not Filibertos though. That place is scary looking as far as sanitary conditions go.

What does bertos mean anyway? There are so many places that have bertos in their name.

Quality chorizo and eggs with hash browns and tortillas, like I had at Harlows today and may have at Sylvia's tomorrow.

Filbertos is like the commpn name everyone knows them as, most of them have different names, but people refer to them as filbertos- and yes it is very scary looking, but the best I have had of any of them.

A mixture of mini shredded wheat (not the kind with sugar) and grape nuts with bananas.

My favorite weekend breakfast is the Momma's pancake breakfast at Cracker Barrel. Two eggs over medium, 4 slices of bacon, and 3 large pancakes with peaches and whipped creme. Add a tall glass of OJ and you have a breakfast fit for a king.

Yeah, but you may not be able to fit in your crown after that!

Favorite B-fast is Biscuits & Gravy at Byler's Amish Kitchen in Black Canyon City. Or Grits in Tallahassee Florida. Only time I ever ate them & didn't want to throw up.

Anyone find good grits in Phx? (preferably north)

Cracker Barrel has them, but they are not that great. You have to go south of the Mason/Dixon line to get good grits.
