Which they are better equipped to do. I know you dislike Johnson, but he can play PG better than the scrubs they had at the beginning of last season.
I was never a big fan of White, because I just dont see him becoming a very good NBA PG. He can score, but hes below average as a distributor. TJ Warren of PGs.
Saric/Cam > White. I say this because I dont think White is an ideal PG. Hes a combo guard who wont fit well at either guard position.
You’re correct. I missed the 19 million part. Those are just all the players who have been stretched (for any amount).
The Empire podcast brought up an interesting point. How are the Suns doing medical evaluations on prospects with the uncertainty of the medical staff?
They still have a medical staff. They just don't have the head trainer anymore. According to their official website they still have a full medical staff employed.
Dr. Tom Carter: Head Team Physician (Orthopedist)
Dr. Tom Fiel: Team Physician (Internal Medicine)
Dr. Tim Byrne: Cardiologist
Dr. Monte Hessler: Chiropractor
Dr. John Badolato: Dentist
Dr. William Ko: Dermatologist
Dr. Jay Schwartz: Ophthalmologist
Dr. Ryan Rehl: Otolaryngology (ENT)
Dr. Ryan Golub: Podiatrist
Jay McCoy: Psychiatrist
Dr. V "Bob" Evani: Surgeon
They actually show David Crewe as their head athletic trainer as well.
I saw that from the link you posted but don’t remember the hire.
Yeah I'm kind of surprised that there hasn't been mention of it considering people questioning the Suns ability to assess medical records. It could have alleviated some of that criticism.
They don’t seem to be doing press releases for any of the hires, from the training staff to the assistant coaches.
I did not but Culver is much more versatile and younger than Johnson without health-issues therefore a much better better prospect.
Clarke at least would have filled a need. Cam Johnson was a questionable pick at a position at which we are already overloaded...unless the plan is to let Oubre walk, in which case it is that much worse.
The following article frightens the heck out of me:
Ooh, sick burn! Take that, libtards!
Age doesnt make a player better. Marquese Chriss and Dragan Bender were young. So was/is Josh Jackson.
Look at Butler. He was older coming out. More mature.
Versatile? Yeah but not great at anything. Most observers are pretty certain Cam Johnson will be a good NBA shooter, which addresses the Suns greatest weakness.
Filled a need? And undersized big who cant shoot?
You do realize the #1 goal in basketball is to put the spherical object through the basket? Jumping high and having long arms dont win basketball games. I didnt like Josh Jackson coming out because he wasnt a good shooter. It's rare that bad shooters become good shooters in the NBA. Rare.
