Cowboys or Raiders, amirite?
LOL Cowboys. But anyone who lived in AZ knows that's all you got on TV at the time was EVERY Cowboys game. But my mom bought me season tickets as a gift as a14 year old kid. I was hooked immediately on the Cards. I cuss her to this day.

I figured the Cowboys since they were on here.

Yeah I just believe it is very hard to win with a QB making 50+ million a year. 11 already is too many
When I did research on this a couple of years ago, it seemed like QBs made around 15% of the salary cap. This number still seems to hold steady of a 50M QB on a 279M salary cap...

Did you watch the NFL pre-1988?

I became a Cardinals Fan that year, drove down from Flagstaff for my first ever NFL game - the win over the 49ers.
I like how you say that like its the only one...and you just expect everybody knows exactly which game you are talking about, lol.

I was also a central Cali kid....Modesto...

and while we did get inundated with dallas on the national broadcasts...we still got Raiders and niner games almost every week.

Fresberg Oakland til 9

Then Mesa az all Dallas til the cards came
We should have stayed with them lol... That 90-97 run would have been fun as a fan. What's funny as soon as I became cards fan, I instantly hated them. Boy was I stupid.

If you say "1988 and the Cards victory over the 49ers" literally every Cardinals fan instantly knows that is Neil Lomax to Roy Green with :03 remaining on the clock.

Late in the game just the previous day, the Sun Devils recovered a fumble by the Oregon St. Beavers and then scored to beat them 30-24. The place went wild and the crowd started tossing their (empty) souvenir cups into the air to celebrate the victory.

Then, on that Sunday, the Cardinals beat the 49ers (we were one of only two road losses for the 49ers that entire season). The place went wild and the crowd started tossing their (empty) souvenir cups into the air to celebrate the victory.

It was the only time I remember the crowd tossing up their cups like that. It was insane. Had never seen it before and have never seen it since.

Two crazy nights in a row as a Sun Devil/Cards fan.

Since his name comes up now and then people joking about trading for Joe Burrow. in the ESPN predictions part of their page for offseason etc it's mentioned that some insiders in Cincy are concerned Burrow is going through the same thing Andrew Luck did before he retired. That he's had so many injuries and the OL is bad and he's tired of getting beaten up and there's some concern he might be going down the same path Luck did before he retired. Their conclusion is probably not, he's just depressed because of how bad things have gone but it's interesting

That’s why I’ve been saying Murray’s contract is not that bad. If you rank him 12-15, he’s about right.
Where I disagree with this statement is that Darnold and Baker both make 33 mil, and Kyler isn't close to either of them at this point in time.

Also there are a bunch of young QBs you’d obviously rather have than Kyler who rank “below” him on the salary scale, like Drake Maye.

I would love to see him go to the Cowboys but not for the reasons some might think.

I think it’s closer than you think. Tua is 12 games over .500 as a starting QB; Kyler is 10 games under.
I am taking into account future health. I don't think Tua lasts much longer or will have much availability.
