First off, he didn't transform as quickly as people are making out. Google DK Metcalf (takes all of 5 secs) and you will find pics of him as a SR. in HS and you will see he was built like a monster back then.

Secondly, yeah he wasn't super productive but he was 1) hurt 2) was the deep threat.
If he runs fast and performs well on the combine, he will be the #1 WR or maybe #2 of this draft. This guy has talent, I saw some games of him and he is a true #1 reciever if you give him at least 1 year of refining route running and maybe, just maybe, to be not to physical in his blocks - more finess like Fitz.

I hoped we could get him or NKeal Harry, we might get Harmon or Campbell and Humphry with our #2 round and #3 round pick but that is hope. I could see them gone by pick 33 and pick 65 but we can hope. at least we have 4 pick in the top 100 so at least another one top wr will be there for us.

Campbell, Ridley and Slayton could be jump up in the #1 round if they hit a time below 4.40 but we will see.

I get it you like him that’s cool I don’t. Since he hasn’t really produced...give any reasons you

He has produced, but not many targets AJ Brown was the stick mover, Metcalf is the big play guy. Averaged over 20 yards per catch.
Kinda like the DJ Humphries argument. When he was healthy in college, he was really athletic and really good.

Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State

"He's probably QB1 in this class, but that doesn't mean he's a good quarterback. This is a bad draft for passers, but he's still going top five. It's just how the league works now." — AFC scouting director

"Haskins scares me, but he has the most traits to work with. Still, he's not [Jared] Goff or anything. He would have been QB4 in last year's class." — NFC area scout

Greg Little, OT, Ole Miss

"Oof...this guy is just bad. I don't know what to tell you. He doesn't move well enough to play left. He's too lazy. I laugh every time he's in the first round of a mock draft." — NFC pro scout

"I think this one is pretty obvious because the hype on him has really died down. I remember reading a mock draft in midseason that had him as a top-15 pick, and he was just never that good." — NFC area scout

Kyler’s PR really is playing all of this really well. With all the debate on his height, he’s the talk of the draft so far. It’s almost as if he’s purposely being uncertain about every aspect of himself leading up to the combine. It keeps him in the spotlight.

Mmm, many questions about him, should be fool declining to throw at combine

Just another question mark in a series of question marks.

Oh btw, claims he ran a 4.3 3 years ago but hasn't been timed since.

Starting to look better for the Oakland A's
