Was sixth place too low for Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown in the 2026 NBA Kia Most Valuable Player voting? The Georgia native finished a respectable sixth overall in the Most Valuable Player race, garnering no first place votes but still having a strong showing in the race in general.

A decent amount of Celtics fans had Brown in the lead or close to it for much of the league's 2025-26 regular season. But there may have been a touch of green-tinted lenses playing into such an assessment. Was it fair for players like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Victor Wembanyama, Nikola Jokic, and Luka Doncic to be ahead of the Boston star in this assessment of the NBA's MVP?

The folks behind the "WEEI Boston Sports Original" YouTube channel put together a clip from their "Greg Hill" show that took a closer look. Check it out below!
