Did star Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum throw some subtle shade at former teammate Jaylen Brown? Speaking at event for one of the first times since Celtics President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens dealt the Georgia native to the Philadelphia 76ers for vet forward Paul George and draft assets, Tatum said some things that could be construed as throwing shade at Brown.

Did the St. Louis native really have some negative comments for his former costar on the wing? Or is this a case of the media taking a snippet out of context and running with it to pick up some offseason engagement from irate fans?
