Norwell High's Cam Hohmann has been voted the South Shore High School Male Athlete of the Week.

Hohmann received more than 12,700 votes to earn the honor, just edging out a fellow baseball player -- Hingham's Liam Merrigan, who had more than 11,600 votes. Hohmann had a double, a triple, a sacrifice fly and 4 RBIs at the plate and also recorded a 2-inning save in a 9-6 win over Rockland.

Zach Brady, Milton boys lacrosse​


Brady scored the winning goal with 11 seconds left as the Wildcats rallied from a 6-1 deficit to beat Natick, 9-8.

Pat Connor, Quincy/North Quincy boys lacrosse​


Connor had 6 goals in a 14-10 win over Rockland.

Finn Cronin, Silver Lake boys lacrosse​


Cronin starred in a pair of wins for the Lakers. He had 5 goals and 2 assists in a 15-8 victory over Whitman-Hanson and then had 6 goals and an assist in a 16-4 victory over Attleboro.

Cam Horvath, Plymouth South baseball​


Horvath delivered a 2-run, walk-off single in the seventh inning to beat town rival Plymouth North, 4-3.

Sam Horwitz, Norwell baseball​


Horwitz threw a 2-hit shutout with 6 strikeouts in a 3-0 win over Plymouth South.

Luke Joyce, Braintree baseball​


Joyce, a junior left-hander, starred in a pair of Bay State Conference wins. In a 4-3 victory over Milton he doubled twice, drove in a pair of runs and recorded a one-inning save. In a 6-3 victory over Newton North he threw a complete-game 3-hitter, allowing 1 earned run.

Danny Kenney, Plymouth North baseball​


Kenney threw a 1-hit shutout, taking a no-hitter into the seventh inning, in a 1-0 win over Duxbury. He issued a walk and struck out eight. That outing improved his season stats to: 3-0 record, 0.37 ERA.

Mikey Kostek, Scituate baseball​


Kostek threw a 3-hit shutout with 16 strikeouts in a 2-0 win over Pembroke.

JP Lally, Archbishop Williams boys lacrosse​


Lally (hat trick, assist) recorded his 100th career point in a 12-4 win over Arlington Catholic.

Kobe Lip, Weymouth boys volleyball​


Lip had a team-high 15 kills in a 3-2 victory over Braintree. It was the Wildcats' first win over the Wamps since 2022.
