The junior pitched the Hawks to a pair of victories at the Sheryl Jones Tournament. Attaway struck out four Shrewsbury batters on Tuesday and had two hits and two RBIs. She fanned six Dracut hitters on Thursday and added two more hits and two more runs batted in to earn a spot on the all-tournament team.
In a week that ended with the Warriors with a 9-0 record, Burdzel scored the only run on a wild pitch during a win over Millbury on Tuesday. She also had two hits and two RBIs against Westborough on Friday.
The senior doubled and tripled on Wednesday against Worcester Tech.
The junior allowed just one run in a complete-game performance as the Mustangs handed Apponequet its first loss of the season at Medway’s inaugural Vacation Tournament.
The junior hit a double and drove in four runs and scored four runs in a win over Blackstone-Millville.
The sophomore hit a home run and a single while not allowing a hit in five innings during a mercy-rule victory over Worcester Tech on Friday.
The freshman threw a no-hitter and fanned nine Burncoat batters in a 15-0 win on Friday.
