Who was the area's top performer last week? You tell us.
You can vote for the high school athlete of the week until 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31. You don't have to be a subscriber to vote.
Pulaski swimmer Conrad Kreutzberg was last week’s winner in the most epic race in poll history, receiving 61,871 votes.
It easily is the most votes by any winner during the 2025-26 school year, breaking the previous mark of 48,213 votes that Green Bay West football player Liam Letizia received in Week 9.
But there is more.
Kreutzberg set the all-time record in the player of the week poll, surpassing the 57,725 votes that Green Bay Preble’s Hannah Von Haden received in the 2024-25 school year for her efforts in softball.
As for the runner-up?
Ashwaubenon basketball player Lauren Seeling received 55,513 votes.
She is only the third athlete in poll history to receive 50,000 or more votes, joining Kreutzberg and Von Haden.
The other four athletes in the poll all received 2,000 or more votes. It included Luxemburg-Casco basketball player Bryce Piesler (7,732), Bay Area Ice Bears goalie Reese Spiering (2,404), Lena wrestler Taylor Whiting (2,147) and Kewaunee wrestler Mitchell Boeder (2,007).
