Southern Door softball player Alanah Kaye was last week’s winner, receiving 8,239 votes.
She is the second Southern Door athlete to be named player of the week in the history of the poll, joining former basketball standout Caden Pierre.
West De Pere softball player Kloe Bartoszek was runner-up with 6,267 votes.

The senior was one of several Tritons players to have a big week in two dominant WIAA Division 3 regional wins.
Bordini had two assists in a semifinal against New London and two goals and four assists in a regional championship against Fox Valley Lutheran.
She has nine goals and a career-high 26 assists and 44 points this season.
Bordini leads the 10-team Fox River Classic Conference in assists and is fifth in points.
The senior came up big toward the end of the D2 state track and field long jump competition to win his first championship with a jump of 23 feet, 2 inches.
Bursa was down to his final two chances when he produced the winning jump on his fifth attempt.
He was the only one of 18 competitors in the field to surpass 23 feet.
His sixth and final attempt was 22-9.75, which also would have been good enough to win the title after Winneconne senior and runner-up Brody Schaffer’s best jump was a 22-9.50.
The senior had a memorable weekend at state track. He won the D1 title in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 37.91 seconds to beat Hamilton’s Tristan Haigh (37.97) and Mukwonago’s Devin Viola (38.61).
He is the first Pulaski boy to win a state track title since Matt Mroczynski won the 3,200 in 2007.
Dauk earned a runner-up finish as part of a 1,600 relay with teammates Max Fredrickson, Landyn Kroll and Kam McKeefry.
Helped the Storm advance to D3 sectionals with regional wins over Peshtigo and Crivitz.
Delain went 2-for-3 against the Bulldogs with one run and two stolen bases while pitching two scoreless innings and striking out two.
The senior infielder followed with two RBIs, one run and one walk against the Wolverines.
Delain leads Kewaunee with a .468 batting average. He has 29 RBIs, 43 runs, five doubles, two triples and a 1.153 OPS.
The junior earned his first state individual championship by winning the D2 discus with a throw of 176-8.
His top throw came on his fifth attempt and beat out runner-up Hudson Samolinski of Winneconne, who had a 173-10 on his fifth attempt.
Flanigan also earned a podium finish in the shot put, finishing fourth with a 55-7.50.
Along with the discus championship, he has won a state football title and a team state track championship in his first three prep seasons.

Hart went 2-for-2 with two home runs, four RBIs, four runs and two walks while again showing why he was the only sophomore to be named first-team all-conference in the FRCC.
He is hitting .429 with four home runs, 16 RBIs, 33 runs, nine doubles and three triples. Hart has a .583 on-base percentage and a 1.397 OPS.
The senior won the D2 state title in the 200, finishing in 21.65 to edge runner-up John Gibson of McFarland, who had a 21.71.
It was a big jump in the 200 from last season for Hofherr, who just missed out on a podium finish after placing seventh.
Hofherr had been dominant in the 200 in recent weeks entering state. He ran a PR 21.39 at regionals and followed with a 21.93 at sectionals.
He also was part of a 400 relay team that finished sixth in 42.76.
The University of Wisconsin commit finished his prep track career in style by repeating as the D1 state champion in the 1,600 and 3,200.
Lenn won the 3,200 in a state-record 8:49.15, breaking his mark of 8:52.79 set last year.
The senior made program history by becoming the first Kewaunee girl to win a state title after the boys had won five in previous years.
The standout earned the D3 800 championship with a time of 2:11.62, beating runner-up Leah Harper of Phillips (2:13.71) and Inez Schmidt of Cameron (2:13.82).
Miller was third in D2 in the 800 as a junior and sixth in D3 as a sophomore after placing 14th in D2 as a freshman.
Her big weekend also included another podium finish in the 1,600, placing fifth in 5:03.42.
The junior made history in the D3 110 hurdles after winning the event in a D3 record-breaking time of 14.25 seconds, .5 seconds faster than runner-up Garrett Bracewell of Marathon.
Along with the title, Peters was runner-up in the 300 hurdles with a 37.98.
The Marquette University commit won the D1 state tennis title by beating Middleton senior Alexander Bo 6-2, 6-4 in the championship match at Nielsen Tennis Stadium in Madison.
He is just the second local boys player to win a D1 singles championship since the tournament was split into two divisions in 1995 and the first since Green Bay Southwest’s Johnny Zakowski in 2019.
