OXFORD — Ole Miss baseball has three strong wins and a big loss in its past four games. It didn't lead to any movement in the USA TODAY coaches poll.

The Rebels (31-13, 12-9 SEC) won their latest SEC series 2-1 at home against Vanderbilt (31-13, 12-9). Even though the final game of the series was a 13-0 run-rule loss, Ole Miss' series win combined with an 8-7 victory in the Governor's Cup against Mississippi State to make for a winning weekend.

Ole Miss is ranked No. 18 in the USA TODAY coaches poll, which is the same as Ole Miss' previous ranking.

Ole Miss was ranked near the bottom of the SEC in preseason polls. Coach Mike Bianco and the Rebels have largely exceeded expectations. The Rebels are in the conversation to host games in the NCAA tournament.
