Undoubtedly. The same teams will be chasing and we would have to take the lesser deal on the table.
Well yeah KD should definitely have less trade value than GA but that might not be bad for us. Obviously cap room and tradable assets will be factors but if you get a couple teams competing to acquire Giannis it could easily drive up the market for the other top tier players looking for new homes.

No Kristaps Porzingis to the Suns please. Jrue could work, but noone will take Beal so it must be a threeway involving Durant.

What are you guys hoping for? For me I hope they get rid of at least one of the big three underachievers (yearly salary vs wins), and that they sign some big physical players and pull their head out of the sand and offer Gillespie a contract.

Brian Gregory may be a good GM for player development and the draft, but I'm concerned about his inexperience when it comes to trades and free agency this summer.

IMO, there has to be other minds involved when it comes to trades, free agency and retaining players the Suns want to keep.

If the Suns are looking to trade Durant, resolve the Beal situation and keep Booker, which is said to be their intention, it's going to take a lot of brain power to get it done.

This is complicated stuff to hand over to an inexperienced GM.

Is there an order of moves we can make, like:
1 - get under the second apron
2 - make moves up the second apron
3 - add another big contract

I listened to a great analysis of this online, and both players are very different, and their costs are different. The cost to get Giannis will be out of reach for a lot of teams. The style of play and skills of both are almost opposites, too. The clubs wanting either one will be different, for sure.

Besides, there have been low level rumblings that KD could be back. Most people think this is to prop up his trade value. From what we just saw with the GM search, I am not so sure. I think it's still more percentage we trade KD, but the not trade KD percentage has gone up by 5-10%. If you are stuck with Beal next season, we are toast anyway.

To be honest, I don't even think Giannis is really even going to be on the market. I think this all just BS cooked up by the media just to get clicks.

If someone throws a monster deal at Milwaukee out of left field, maybe they trade him. But otherwise, they really have no incentive to do so this year.

The Bucks have one playoff series win since winning the title. They’re a prime candidate to blow it up.

They have blown it up in a Suns fashion. Traded Jrue and Middleton for Dame and Kuzma. They also let key role players leave like DiVincenzo. You'd think they lost in the finals by how quick they moved on from starters and their coach, who we just fired as well.

Giannis won't be traded unless he asks. He's a weird guy also and I'm not sure he'll ask. They were clicking this season before the collapse as they won the NBA Cup but ultimately they need depth and injury luck.

and then Lilliard ends up in a sinking ship, but in Milwaukee instead of Portland. Seems like he just stepped in poopoo.

Lillard's career is over. 34 and tore his Achilles. He's out next year so there goes 35. Returning at 36? I don't see his game translating well. He's a good shooter but he'll need to accept a lesser role when he returns. He'll be at the CP3 stage where he needs to redefine his game.
