Looks like Darnel Dockett a inch taller , basically with the same numbers pre draft

Ok, where is he going to play? We didn't pay Justin Jones for him to sit behind a rookie that barely played the position and if we drafted a guy at #27 to play 30-40% of snaps at a position he's barely played I'm going to be pissed.

I am an ASU guy and I cannot fathom why they took Pearsall that high.
Because he is good, probably should watch some tape. See what he did @ the combine and do some research on who was throwing him the ball @ Florida the last couple of years. SF will be trading either Aiyuk or Debo

Some thoughts:

Discouraging we had to go edge again after spending a high pick on an edge last year.

On Robinson--maybe wouldn't have been my pick, but he is in the mold of Gannon's "play on the outside, then move inside on 3rd down" pass rushers.

Will be able to get Newton, the guy lots of posters wanted at 27, at 35.

At least do the minimal of research. Please. Gannon plays with a 3-4 DE and 3-4 OLB in this scheme. Robinson Will be DE on Two down scenario and slide inside on passing downs.

Sorry, this seems personal, and done while possibly having had a few. Bad look.

I have already opened this for moderator discussion after the banning last night. If the majority disagrees, he will be unbanned.

Krang has been consistently attacking other posters. I let him get away with it with me but I am not with others.

Also anytime someone requests to be banned, they will be.

Wait, I thought Robinson was DL. I don’t look at him as an Edge like BJ. Do you?

You had no choice but to grant his wish to 'Ban me.' If you had let that challenge slide, your credibility as the forum monitor would have been undermined. It was the best move of Draft Night 1 to grant his wish.

Plenty of snaps available for IDL.

You just hope that the first pick is good enough it doesn't turn into a high priority the next season. I don't mind the pick--I think he's a solid fit for Gannon's scheme. It's more the situation that's frustrating.
What makes the situation frustrating?

Check my EDIT from the post before this.

Predictable, but I want to go offense.

JPJ is giving me Creed/Linderbaum vibes of don't pass on him. Not saying he'll be as good.

Put him at guard if need be to start off.

I don't really hate any of the options. Although TBH I'd rather have a couple guys at 35 over Robinson who we took at 27 (Newton/JPJ/Corner).

Edit: Part me thinks we were going Barton at 27 and Robinson at 35 but the Bucs changed that for us.
