Imagine you’re drafting tomorrow in a 12-team PPR league. Who would be the top three bargains to target in the second round? The following is based on current average draft positions (ADPs).

Omarion Hampton (overall-16 ADP) has the tools and surrounding talent to be a perennially elite fantasy RB. The Chargers have almost nowhere to go but up offensively after finishing 20th in scoring last season. Similarly, Hampton has almost nowhere to go but up after injuries interrupted a promising rookie campaign.

His elite broken-tackle rate and exceptional hands negate any risk of Keaton Mitchell and/or Kimani Vidal crushing his ceiling. He’s a good bet for 275+ touches and 9+ scores -- not bad for a mid-second rounder.

Drake London (overall-18 ADP) is poised to get to the next level in his fifth NFL season. Last year’s WR7 in points per game, London is the unquestioned #1 receiver on a team with no obvious #2. He’ll have every opportunity to increase his target share, which puts him in a prime position for career highs at all major receiving categories.

Naysayers might point to a questionable QB situation, which could undercut his ceiling. But since joining the league, he’s caught passes from Marcus Mariota, Desmond Ridder, Taylor Heinicke, Michael Penix, and, significantly, post-prime Kirk Cousins. Whether Penix or Tua Tagovailoa wins the starting job this summer, the team’s QB situation realistically could be the best London has ever had.

Finally, remember what Trey McBride did last year? 18.6 points per game elevated him to TE1 status. Who was the TE2 in points per game? Brock Bowers. A 2024 first-round pick, Bowers arguably has a higher ceiling than McBride. I know: that might sound ridiculous, but only because it hasn’t happened yet.

Bowers’ overall-20 ADP makes him seem safe, but he’s more than that. The Raiders have one of the thinnest WR corps in the league, and it’s not even close. Whether Cousins or Fernando Mendoza is under center, Bowers will be the #1 target. Don’t be surprised if he averages close to 10 looks per game. A monster season is realistic.
