I still can't believe Pfaadt's ERA is all the way down to that.

In his interview yesterday with Gambo he justified putting Barrosa in as a defensive replacement based on the numbers but also said that he might be replacing someone else going forward due to the way Waldy is playing. I wouldn't be surprised to see whoever's playing left to get replaced going forward.
Yeah, he was trying to say the numbers show that Barrosa is a step ahead of everyone for defense. I didn't buy it either. His numbers might slightly say that, which not really from what you posted, but it's not passing the eye test for me.Yeah Torey's "The numbers say" again vs the actual numbers.
DWAR for both players 0.
Runs saved Barrosa 1 Waldschmidt 0
Range Factor Barrosa 3.05 Waldschmidt 3.18
Both have 1 error.
Defensively, there is no real difference. Offensively, there is a massive difference.
I've been thinking all along that no amount of extra defense Barrosa provides can make up for the offense he's replacing.Yeah Torey's "The numbers say" again vs the actual numbers.
