The Tennessee Titans hosted members of the national media on Thursday, giving coaches and players a chance to put on a show in front of a captivated audience with widely different opinions on the Titans' chances in 2026.
Afterward, head coach Robert Saleh took center stage for interviews and discussed many aspects of his first year in Nashville, as well as star players such as Jeffery Simmons and Cam Ward.
At one point, Saleh sat down with Kurt Warner and Daniel Jeremiah of NFL Network to talk about his young signal-caller.
“He’s a dog!” Saleh said, “I mean that in the best way possible. He’s always bugging me for more reps; give us another rep, give us another shot.”
By many accounts, Warner and Jeremiah were treated to a show by Ward and the offense during the practice, with Ward having one of his best days of training camp on Thursday. The second-year quarterback excelled in the red zone, accounted for multiple touchdowns (including running one in), and showed control of the offense.
This is another great step forward for Ward, who needs to take a significant step forward in 2026 if the Titans want to return to contention in the AFC South.
