The Tennessee Titans had the day off on Saturday, but that didn’t stop special teams coordinator John “Bones” Fassel and some of the Titans’ players from taking to the field to support a good cause.

For an eighth straight year, Fassel partnered with the Prison Fellowship Angel Tree program to host a camp for children of incarcerated parents. Fassel was joined by players and coaches, including Jaylen Harrell, David Martin-Robinson, Julius Chestnut, Jaren Kanak, Sean Brown, K.J. Osborn, and assistant special teams coach Rayna Stewart, for an afternoon of activities.

“We started about eight years ago when I was with the LA Rams in 2018, and two years in LA, four years in Dallas, and now two years here in Tennessee, and it’s only gotten bigger and better.”

In all, Fassel and the Angel Tree organization hosted over 150 children, ages 7 to 17, in this Prison Fellowship football camp, with each participant receiving a pair of shoes, a football, a T-shirt, and a swag bag, as well as sharing lunch and hearing words of encouragement from Fassel and the organizational members who helped out.

This Prison Fellowship program is the nation's largest Christian nonprofit serving currently and formerly incarcerated people and their families.
