Tennessee Titans head coach Robert Saleh ignited the internet when he did not allow his eight 2026 NFL Draft picks to practice during rookie minicamp at the beginning of the month. He cited having lost a rookie at minicamp, Dante Fowler, to a torn ACL. Fowler missed his entire rookie season, something that still sits with Saleh.
Many disagreed with that decision, but that's still how it went down. There was also some internet excitement over a drill designed by special teams coordinator John Fassel during rookie minicamp, a drill that many said made no sense.
Now, the internet is losing its mind over another drill that was run at OTAs. This drill was designed by former NFL wide receiver Greg Lewis, who is also in his 12th season as a position coach. Both Lewis and Fassel are widely respected around the league, so this outrage is interesting. Route God, real name James Everett Jr., is a private wide receivers coach, and he didn't understand it.
