Tired of his timid running style
Except that this isn't fantasy football and you can't.
Be surprised if we got a 2nd round pick for him
It would not matter what you got, you simply can't do it as it would be a huge hit on your salary cap.
Running backs are a low value position in today’s NFL. Should never put big money into the position. Just keep drafting fresh legs.
Dudes already 27. Next year he’ll be 28. Almost all running backs hit a brick wall at 30. Due to position you’ll only get a 3rd and the cap hit is $20 mil next off-season.
Bouncing back from a major injury is tough. Players tend to think they’re indestructible until they get one. It’s not unusual for them to have a better second season than first after an injury. Game changers are rare. I’d keep him.
Always wanting that dislike button...
Player personnel advice from the the weighty depths of 30 posts. Nice.
No... this year is certainly not his fault IMO. But it does seem he lost his 5th gear. He is still a 1200 yrds rushing 800-900 yards receiving and 15-20 TD player in an average offense.
Yeah, that's not happening. I put his performance more on scheme this year. This coaching staff has been clueless about game planning, along with many other aspects of the game. Wilks goes and he has a chance to improve.
This is crazy
Run him/her off .... right? Nice to have a fresh perspective around here.
FWIW..... Johnson could be a shooting star.
I don't think we've seen the last of the DJ we saw under BA. Whoever gets this job will need to resurrect DJ & develop Rosen. In addition to about 20 other areas that Wilks destroyed.
Rookie QB; decimated 0-line; Two play callers and , hard to believe, Johnson was flexed out less than 40 times this season.
No player was more misused in 2018.
