As I have for the last 3 World Cup Tournaments, I have currently seen every single minute. It has led to some rather late nights, but the matches have been good enough to keep me awake. From Cape Verde holding Spain to a draw and the USA putting 4 past Paraguay, there has been plenty to be excited about. Today marks the start of the second group stage games, and if they are anything like the first ones, this World Cup will continue with some great stories.

Meanwhile, the weather in Omaha has been absolutely perfect for the men’s College World Series. Not one time has the rain caused issues, nor has it been 95+ degrees for like a week straight. The final series is set, as North Carolina will take on Oklahoma. If you are wondering about the paths to the final, North Carolina was the overall #5 seed and Oklahoma was the 2-seed in the Atlanta regional, beating #2 overall Georgia Tech in the regionals and #15 Kansas in the Super Regionals. This should be a really fun series to watch this weekend. In the meantime…here are your flakes.
