With Nebraska’s ouster in both the Women’s College World Series and the Lincoln Regional for baseball, we have officially hit the summer-time blues. There is nothing really to report on other than speculation about this, that and the other thing involving everything. It’s really a time of year like Seinfeld, it’s reporting about nothing.
I guess I can bore you with some personal details. Like how I’m going with my in-laws to take our yearly trip up to Lake Okoboji for the weekend. Nothing like a little R%R for 4 days. Oh, who the hell am I kidding, a 4-hour road trip today with a 5-year-old and 7-month-old twins is NOT R%R. The plan for my wife and I is to pawn those three off to anyone who will look after them for a few hours here and there. Wish us luck. Here are your flakes…
