Maybe, but teams don't always blow smoke. Look at the Lions last year. Sitting at #2, we knew in December they were taking the local boy, and they did nothing to dispute that in the media.

From the title I almost thought you were suggesting moving Boldin to QB. Maybe that's Green's plan...

Honestly though, we have to get a QB from somewhere. Does this mean Parsons will be the 2nd QB? Who knows. My guess is that Green will choose a WR in the 1st round and take a QB late in the draft and have him compete with McCown. There have been some nice QBs in the draft even up until the 6th round. So if this is what Green is thinking, he has a sleeper QB already in mind. Cutting Jeff Blake was a bold move, something must have prompted him to do it.
