Andrew Booth was drafted in 2nd rd, 42 overall from Clemson. Had a decent college career and played in all 17 games for the Vikings 2 years ago. Maybe there was an injury?

Same, Melton took a very heavy landing and it could just be bruising or limited impact injury. Williams looked more like a tendon.

He ended 2022 Rookie season on IR, but was active for all games 2023, then traded to Dallas last year and on PS most of season before being released. Maybe taking time to come back fully from that injury?

He's still only 24, so maybe something there and he just needed more time????

I will say we are better equipped this year compared to the last two years.

We really gotta hope/pray that the front 4 stays relatively healthy & Nolen makes his presence known when he’s healthy.

Most likely he was never the same after the knee injury. It’s been 3 years now, some players never fully recover to their prior abilities.

Today we should get an injury report. So they should have an injury designation today. But if there lusted as questionable we still got nothing. Good news is they have not been put on IR.

If so and Johnson is okay and just needs a couple of weeks then we just may survive this gut punch!

Genuinely shocked Melton is fine. Thought he easily had the worst-looking injury out of all them.

I hope Williams is back sooner than later. He is extension eligible aftet this season and having 2 seasons with a massive amount of games missed could hurt his ability to maximize his extension and might lead to him leaving.

By the same token, if he’s missed significant time in both college and pro, this early in his career, he doesn’t warrant a large extension.
