Ehh. I need a full season to give full confidence going forward. His back to back misses last week were huge.. but he was solid the first fews games. He has to show consistency throughout the season imo.

If you guys have been paying attention this year, there is a severe shortage of CLUTCH kickers this year. I would venture to say that the majority of teams have a kicker that they have concerns with and has missed an "easy" kick(s) this year.

The NFL wanted the extra point to be less "automatic" and it sure as heck achieved that.

Gonzales is an alternate for the pro bowl. He has had an excellent season with the Cards. He could be our kicker for the next 10 + years as he is only 24 years old.

He went 31-35 last year and it’s week 1 where he missed a 51 and 49, while making a 56. Not exactly chip shots.

He was 50% over 50 yards...and both misses weren't way off...had plenty of height and length...just pushed. Maybe over/under compensated for wind?????

Zane was 1 for 3 in one game. 60% is average from that distance and we have too small a sample size to get picky IMO. Highest season avg ever is 67% and Zane was one make away from that.

Zane for his career is 58%. Flip one kick and this isn't even a conversation.

Some people are crazy. He missed a huge FG attempt by about a yard. Yes he should have made the shorter one but same goes for Zane as everyone else. Lack of preseason and game time.
