The results for the latest reader's poll for the Montgomery Advertiser sponsored by The Vance Law Firm are in.
The Advertiser asked its readers for the duration of Aug. 2-6 to cast a vote for with Montgomery-area high school football quarterback they thought would have the most passing yards over the course of the 2026 season.
The QB readers think would have the most passing yards is Pike Road rising junior Gunner Gibbs. It's been quite the summer for the Pike Road QB. Gibbs claimed the poll in which readers were asked which area high school player could win the ASWA's Mr. Football Award.
Gibbs claimed the poll with 80% of the votes, while Prattville QB Will McKay grabbed 17% of the votes.
