I'm keeping all 4 on the roster. I see TA and Love as the starters. Conner backing up TA and Benson backing up Love.

If another team has a rash of injuries at RB during the season then I consider moving one of the backup RBs for future draft capital assuming the Cardinals RB room looks healthy still at that point.
And, oh by the way, who is trading anything for those two, and why?

Then Conner and Benson need to play special teams. That's not happening. There is absolutely no reason to keep Conner. He. Is. Cooked.

We don't know if he is "Cooked" or not. Yes he did have that nasty ankle injury last season but we haven't seen how he looks yet after recovering from the injury. The injury happened very early in the season that that gave him almost a full year to recover.

I think Benson would be desirable to a team dealing with injury/depth issues at RB. He is still young and if he can show that he is healthy then I believe that teams would find him as a desirable RB who could add additional depth. With the limited carries that he had last season splitting time with Conner he showed that he could break some big runs and catch the ball out of the backfield.

However with his latest MCL injury to the already reconstructed knee, that would probably limit him to a smaller load moving forward. I don't believe he will every be a Workhorse 20-25 carries a game RB anymore as that would eventually cause flare ups in his knee like he is dealing with right now. However if he can get healthy enough to show that he can handle 10-12 touches per game load I think he could grab some teams attention. Hopefully he can get the inflammation under control enough to show something in the next 4 weeks.

Trey Benson averages a season-ending injury every 65 touches right now. Who would want this?

I’m not sold Conner can be effective with a light load.

Seems as though James needs to pound with spot work maybe not so effective.

What a stupid post they did.
You could do the same thing for every other team in training camp.
I came here to post this exact thing. If you took every team's lowlights from camp it would look comical like this. They are just piling on at this point. Who has the time to compile a video like this anyhow?

lol once marv went viral you knew it was coming - if 1 cardinal dropping the ball gets thousands of likes how many likes would the whole team get - 30 glorious seconds of hilarity - we are that other guy on world star - a picture is worth a thousand words but a montage of us not catching the ball is priceless

Why would that convince anyone? He’s getting zero touches tonight because he’s already injured.

He's still recovering from a major injury. Inflammation is known to happen when recovering from this type of injury. He has already returned to practice, but MLF has said they are being cautious with Benson which is why he probably won't play tonight.

He indisputably looked bad last year. Go back and read the threads expressing grave concern from before the injury. He's old, had already lost a step, then dealt with that injury. He's cooked. And nobody will trade for a guy of his profile. Let him go so he can try to stick somewhere.

To be fair though he had 32 carries. Thats a pretty small sample size.

The sheer amount of injuries we had at the position and the peanuts he is now making, you might as well keep him. That 53rd roster spot only sees the field in case of injury anyway. Unless he wants to leave, of course.
