his feet are smaller than you think!
nope that foot is on the line clear as day…. Small feet be damned ;)

It was still a bad ass play just not in bounds…. No need to call something a touchdown that isn’t. ;)

Replay not conclusive too blurry. TD stands.

I’m watching the preseason pro football Hall of Fame game right now and they just did the virtual first down measurement that’s new this year …. Not really sure I trust the technology. Technology fails all the damn time.

The algorithms are pretty good these days.
But I still think they need to lay a grid beneath the turf and put transmitter chips in each end of the football

I think the technology is just replacing the chain gang (which I never saw as an issue) so it doesn’t fix the initial spot being bad which is the problem the fans want fixed.

the chain gang used to be some of the highest drama in football.
You remember...it was close,....the game is on the line....did we get it??
the chain stretches....the camera zooms to the ball...oh no! it looks short!..But then the ref twists a kink out of the chain...and suddenly...FIRST DOOOOOOWN!!!

or the few times an official inexplicably reaches down and slides the ball forward a few inches.... some high drama stuff that fueled rivalries for decades.
The game is not supposed to be sterile.

This is the Sanders I am rooting for. The forgotten brother.
All the press conferences, sideline interviews, pre game shows...and not a single time have I ever heard Dion mention the son that actually followed in his footsteps to become a DB.
It would be cool to see the kid have a career that far outpaces his golden boy brother...maybe even pick a few of his brothers passes...better yet?? pick 6 him a few times and be the reason his brother is relegated to career backup status.

Shilo is a total scum bag. Read what he did to the security guard and how he has avoided paying the guy.

There is referee discretion on every single play, getting ball placement correct is a huge pain point that hurts every team at some point. That’s not “sterile” it’s making the game better.

strongly disagree. Human error has been the direct cause for nearly every major rivalry in sports.
we need to keep it.

IMO it has more to do with speeding up the game. So the old dudes don't have to run on and off the field.

FB has now decided to flood me with highlights of Shedeur Sanders in camp. So far 3 of them a really nice deep ball in the endzone, a throw to a wide open TE who had to wait for the ball, and a sideline throw that's a picksix in an NFL game but worked in practice

But he's apparently doing pretty well in camp

Dont the Browns know that 5'10" QBs have an uphill battle in that offense. Especially a slower and weaker armed one.
