Sorsby should drop out of Texas Tech and enter the NFL Supplemental Draft before that window closes. It is crazy for him to try to play for TTU this year as the pressure will be on him for every dumb play that he makes. He will be under a nation wide microscope for every game. This won't blow over.
So glad he took my expert advice.

I'm betting on the Cards, Cowboys, or Browns are getting him. Dolphins as a long shot. I think all of them had good odd on making this type of move. Fits all of their MOs.

I'm gonna have to disagree with the cards being in the hunt. The only scruple Bidwill seems to require; is a player must also have scruples...
Bidwill may not know how to run a professional football team, but he knows how to avoid headlines

thats the one thing I have always respected about the organization. they have standards for character..not so much for football skills, lol... but they like to stay manned by guys that are fairly decent people.

#MillerKeim kinda flies in the face of this.

So does all of the stuff about Bidwill being a complete piece of crap to women.

What it’s more like is they take a “do as I say, not as we do” attitude towards players because Management has def had horror shows and is run by a horror show at the tippy top.

Brendan Sorsby has officially moved on from Texas Tech, without ever suiting up for a single game.

For its part, Texas Tech will not seek reimbursement of NIL payments already made to Sorsby.

That information appears in a lengthy, single-spaced, self-serving (frankly) statement from billionaire Cody Campbell, the chairman of the Board of Regents of the Texas Tech University System.

Man, the whole system is a disaster. I 100% support players in college receiving money for the work they do, raising millions for these institutions, but man, if the corrupt uber rich boosters didnt just completely usurp the entire system... no surprise there. Normally, Id chuckle a bit about a booster spending all that coin only to never see the player suit up, but Sorsby seems the least sympathetic character ever, receiving money for not only doing nothing, but for doing terrible things.

Gross.

Cards generally dont gamble on character concern players

and with all the noise around this team already --personally i dont want to endure X years of every time he throws a int late in a game, social media filling up with the predictable

Should the Arizona Cardinals draft Brendan Sorsby, it would likely signal the end of the road for Jacoby Brissett.

Not enough snaps to go around between four guys and you’re not moving off Minshew or Beck.

Will be interesting…

I don’t see much downside in the Cardinals taking Brendan Sorsby in the supplemental draft. He showed some immaturity by gambling but it’s not like he got arrested for violence.

Much more intriguing prospect than Carson Beck.

If Terrelle Pryor is worth a 3rd in the supplemental, then this dude might be worth a 2nd or 3rd as well.

Well, for one thing, if he gets caught gambling in the NFL, he'll be booted/banned for some time and unavailable to suit up for your team. That's a fairly big risk.

The same rookie wage scale structure applies to players selected in the #NFL Supplemental Draft. For example, a player selected with the 5th pick in the 5th Round will be eligible for a 4-year, $2.85M contract, with a $334k signing bonus.

What's the risk a second round pick. The contract will protect any future money owed him. I'm sick of losing do something Cards
