End of 1st quarter:

Suns 29 - Warriors 25

With persistent double teams opponents are making Booker a willing distributor. He has 8 points and 3 assists.

Baynes looks like the old Baynes tonight. He is moving well.

Maybe having 4 days off helped.

Yeah some in uncharacteristic turnovers to start the game.

For sure. It's up to 4 turnovers and 2 assists for Rubio and only 2 points.

Oubre with 3 personal fouls is totally out of rhythm with 0 points.

One thing I've noticed about Booker under Monty's coaching, he does not complain about calls from the referees much any more.

Wasn't able to see the first half. Were they playing great defense or was GS just missing a lot of open looks?

Warriors were missing a lot of shots more than good defense by the Suns.

Oubre and Rubio haven't made a FG. Booker, Saric and Baynes were particularly effective along with Kaminsky.

Watching this crap I’m just embarrassed I thought this team was improved.

We're at the point where Monty might need to forbid his players from shooting threes for a game or two. They are becoming overly dependent on the three and keep hoisting them even when the lane is open and the threes aren't falling. Sadly, this was very much a characteristic of last year's team as well.

Monty's still a much better head coach than Igor was, but in some ways this year's roster is actually worse than last year's...
