Williams is the key to our success. We are completely different without him active in the lineup. Hopefully our training staff is up to par because Booker and Green being out doesn't give me hope.
Totally agree. You can tell when he is not on the court.

Williams is playing only 24 min a game. He's a 20 and 12 player without time restraints.

Unfortunately those time restraints are for him as much as the team. I'll take 24 minutes of productivity vs time on the IR.

It is a subplot to watch as the season wears on. Will he play more.

So far, I'm extremely happy with his availability (the best ability). When we signed him, I was very concerned based on his previous history and the Lakers rescinding their offer due to a failed physical. It's been so much better than I imagined. And now we have the whole Charlotte center rotation collection. ;)

As of last night, Mark Williams has officially surpassed his career high for minutes in a season with 1,186.

His continued development, along with his trust in the Suns’ medical and coaching staff on the detailed plan for him this year, is leading to positive results all-around.

At the start of the season, I bet none of us thought that Green would still be on the roster past the trade deadline AND Williams would have way more minutes played at this point in the season!

I'd have lost that parlay because of Williams but the more I researched Jalen, the more I felt he was a keeper. The kids attitude is infectious and an underrated part of this team's turn around. He's been on the bench and in huddles virtually every game. He's the future of this team.

I am talking about when the trade was made and no one here had seen him play. You go back and read the threads. Most people didn't know how he would fit in, and thought the Suns were going to flip him for another player at the deadline. He has been good to nearly great in the handful of games he played with us. That very first game he played for us, I still think was his best. He showed us all his skills, and we looked amazing as a team with him on at least the offensive side of the ball.

Handful of games? It's been 50. That's 10 handfuls. :) He's played more in this one season than any other and we're just at the all-star break. Availability was my biggest worry about him when we acquired him.

Not sure but I think they were talking about Jalen Green with the "handful of games" comment?

Pretty even until you get to BPM and VORP, and that is why Mark Williams is such a better player than Ayton.
Not to mention FT attempts which is missing from the graphic. 3.0 per game for Williams vs 1.8 for Ayton.
