When you say we don't need a starter, are you referring to Nick Richards? Wasn't he literally Mark Williams backup before we traded for him?

I don't like the future pick being dealt but we weren't adding anyone who would give us what Williams can next at #29. I view this as a mentor for Maluach.

Meh the 29th pick and another pick that’s going to be really low. Kid is 23 years old and averaged 15/10/2.5/1.2 on 26 mins. Have to see what his injuries have been. But this is a good trade.

Tells me Nick Richards is long gone. Thinking we might want Oso to go more 4 than 5 as well. He develops any kind of jumpshot, that's what he'll be. Big "if" though.

Yes. Maluach is our starter now, and Richards is more than capable of being the backup.

I am in absolute love with the Maluach pick, but he probably isn’t quite ready to start.
