Weren't we talking a bit during the deadline about this guy? Then the Lakers traded for him for Cam Reddish and Knecht, but the trade was voided.

Hopefully, this is part of another move. Not really crazy about this.

It makes me wonder if the Suns trade Nick Richards before his contract is guaranteed. He has value.

Did the Suns just become the Utah Jazz of old collecting the big centers?

Yeah, I'm not seeing where Williams is worth two firsts, even lower ones. We aren't getting anything else back?

Yikes...

Williams' rookie season was disrupted by ankle and thumb injuries, including a left ankle sprain in November and December, a right thumb dislocation in March, and thumb surgery in June. He also missed a game due to a lower back contusion in December.

Williams started 19 of the Hornets' first 20 games before a back injury forced him to miss most of the season.

Williams missed the start of training camp and the beginning of the preseason due to a strained tendon in his left foot. He also missed three games due to left foot injury management.
Williams has said that his back was a bigger issue this season, but he noticed a difference in January when the Hornets eased his restrictions. He ended the regular season with 44 appearances, averaging 15.3 points, 10.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.2 blocks per game.

Oh no, this looks really stupid.

Why did we do this? I had no idea this guy was this injured.

Well, he was worth essentially 3 firsts and a pick swap to the Lakers. LOL
He is good when he plays - like legit starter good. Apparently he doesn't even play half the games though - and we don't need a starter now - this appears really dumb

When you say we don't need a starter, are you referring to Nick Richards? Wasn't he literally Mark Williams backup before we traded for him?

I forgot we had Oso too. We really don't need 4 centers.

Yes. Maluach is our starter now, and Richards is more than capable of being the backup.

We just used 2 firsts for a guy that will likely play 15 minutes a night. Not a good use of assets.

LOL

Maluach isn't automatically our starter now. Where do you get that from? It's not like he's the #1 pick.

I am in absolute love with the Maluach pick, but he probably isn’t quite ready to start.
