Pelicans have some nice future pieces. I think they are better than their record indicates as they started the season very slow. With some experience and roster tweaking, they could be have something.

We played better down the stretch. Trey Murphy is gonna be good. Fleming has the potential to be even better if the light bulb goes on.

Thankfully the Pelicans couldn't make free throws (25-42) and shot poorly from three as did the Suns.

These Pelicans were apparently a worthy opponent. They did not roll over.
Would someone explain to me: in light of their record, why are the Pelicans said to be "surging," better than they were, etc.? Before this loss, they were what, 8-23? That's "improved"? Then what was their record before that, 0-23?

we had the team to keep us in it - the star to finish it and the unwavering mindset to accomplish it all - dare i say we're a good team
dare i say it all starts with coaching - and with dillon the villain who didn't have to dig into his disruptive bag last night - actually the opposite with new orleans trying to bait him
whatever it is im impressed because the pelicans played to win that game too (aside from missing 87 free throws)
it will be interesting to see if new orleans doubles book more or less tonight - he probably won't have williams to lean on in the 4th changing the whole dynamic of everything

I did enjoy the newer insights I heard from Rex Chapman. The one we were talking about in our house was Rex saying he heard about a conversation between Dillon Brooks and Oso, where Oso asked Brooks what he weighed. Brooks said 240. Oso replied that's what he weighed. Chapman pointed out that is why Brooks can stand his own against bigger guys like Zion because he is way stronger than he looks.
