The Suns have given up 116, 129 and 131 points in their last three games to the Kings, Clippers and Nuggets respectively.

This is a very winnable game. Utah has less talent than we do at this point. Lauri Markkenen, Walker Kessler, and Keyonte George are the only surefire NBA players there and Lauri is on borrowed time, Kessler is nice but young, and George needs to figure out which guard spot he's going to occupy.

Dunn and Brooks will have their hands full trying to stop Lauri while also helping rebound. Ideally Williams will start because Kessler will destroy Oso on the boards. The Jazz have bigs for days too so they'll have no issue pounding the paint and glass all night. I hope Ott goes to the bench sooner if needed because rebounding will be a bit part.

Book always plays big vs Utah. He's averaging 34.4 ppg and 7 apg, and 4 rpg over the last 5 games. Over the last 10 he's averaging 32.9 ppg, 7.5 apg, and 5.4 rpg. We need Utah Book.

For the Jazz game, Jalen Green is OUT.

Dillon Brooks is QUESTIONABLE.

Ouch, but then again, does this mean we'll see Fleming start with Dunn, Book and Grayson? I think we must play NHD because of scoring, but I hope for many minutes for Fleming and a change in play by Devin. Look to score, don't go up to pass.

Not a chance. It will be Royce O'Neale if Brooks can't go.

do you sit maluach and let him watch in awe or do you throw him in and let him know there are no expectations against wemby?

oso will be in foul trouble early - i don't think guarding wemby is the best thing for williams' knee and nick richards????

what im saying is the spurs are undefeated - probably about a 5% chance we win this game - wemby could out rebound our 4 centers combined

plus dtv and the groin thing - we'll likely sit and rest him in anticipation of jalen green's debut because we aint beating san antonio - they're focused and we're still figuring it all out

bench dtv - go with the tallest/fastest lineup you can because wemby will be off to the races - we've already seen maluach in the first quarter

my starters all things considered

grayson
book
dunn
oso
maluach

we're getting murdered regardless

If this season continues on this trajectory, I say we move Book before his value diminishes. Get a TON of draft capital so we can reload with higher quality talent. If this youth injection doesn't really change anything what is the point? Are we just going to tread water wasting Books career until his contract is up? Saying we are younger and grittier sounds like we are settling for moral victories on the court. Yes, I know we don't have Jalen in the lineup yet but it sure sounds like we are hanging A TON on that guy helping this team.

we did almost play our entire first half on saturday- i think we choked with 3 or 4 minutes to go - they had to bring oso back in fir richards to stop the damage but too late

im looking for that full first half tonight - not necessarily a lead but keeping it within 5 would be nice

This is a game the Suns have to win.
Eh. Only if you expect us to be in the playoff hunt this season. There's a good chance we won't be but I like the hope and expectation. I can see us move to playing the young guys at some point during the season for experience and growth. The question is how long before that happens.

I want to see us in the hunt but I'm not counting anything as must win because we aren't built for that. There's should and could win games but that's it. We're laying the foundation now.

I want to see Dunn be more assertive on offense. I want to see Fleming take NHD's minutes. I want to see Williams and Maluach at C for 45+ minutes. I'd also like to see less than 70 scored by our opponent in the 1st half.

Watched a lot of games and I really don't see too many teams the Suns can beat
Playing the way they have yeah, no way.

But, we have shot worse than I would expect, and the defense can certainly improve.

But yeah, we lack enough talent to be good. Shouldn't really be a surprise to anyone.
