Agreed. Baseline jumper, fade away in the post, just anything he can make as a goto get your own shot move.
I think the next step just needs to be learning to fake the 3 like Royce, then drive to the rim, and sometimes pull up from mid range.

I don't think he needs to really ISO yet, or post up. First step is just to become very dangerous as a spot up 3 point shooter. His ball handling isn't good enough yet to do much else.

The Suns are hosting summer camps all throughout June. Rasheer Fleming pulled up to today’s event at West Point High School, signing autographs and interacting with the kids

Report Rasheer Fleming is up to 250 pounds. If he learns to use that size, watch out.

in ott's offense when you're supposed to be posted up at the corner 3 - you're supposed to be posted up at the corner 3

fleming struggled with that - book told him to be there when he passed it to fleming and fleming had already cut to the basket - same thing happened later in the season with grayson but grayson actually yelled at fleming lol

fleming sees his defender not paying attention and knows - not feels - he can get open on his way to the bucket but that's not how it works

our ball handlers are not only counting on fleming being there - but they're also trying to draw fleming's defender in so he has the open 3

when i watch fleming in summer league i'm seeing a guy posted up on the side waiting for the 3 - he's not creating like he was last year - i think he's trying to improve on the role

ryan dunn has a chance at filling that roll as well - brooks can drain the drain the 3 but i'm hearing miles can't - grayson and oneale are gone - we need another forward who can 3andD - that's ryan dunn and/or rasheer fleming imo

Adding all that weight in such a short period of time might be a tough adjustment for him.

fleming's fine

Fleming is a 3 and D small forward. Thats how he plays. However he put on the weight to play power forward. If he is going to play like a sf, he needs to weigh like one. That is if the extra weight diminishes the speed necessary to play the wing. To me, Fleming looks a little slower in summer league than he was last year during the season.

I don’t mind if we develop him as a Sf behind Brooks.

fleming had the highest shooting percentage of the 3 (in that last game) and takes his shots from the furthest out - when he has time to get his shot off it's got a good chance of dropping

the weight will help with rebounds - on defense and when he drives to the rim

That weight does not help his jumping for rebounds, and he is not usually close enough to the rim to position for them. That weight does not help him switch out onto guards. That versatility is his bread and butter. All is not lost though. Usually players that put a lot of weight on in the off season, play the pounds off in the regular season.

What this team needs from Fleming right now is to be a bigger Mikal Bridges. That would be perfect for us.

I read he added 10lbs not enough to worry about just added strength.
