Wow. Our future is bright. We have the next Charles Barkley at pf, the next Kahwi, at SF, and the next Dikembe at center.

Hope springs!

Wait for it . . .

The closest any of those come to being true is probably ManMan becoming Dikembe with a jumper. If he hits it will help a ton as franchise bigs are easiest to build a perennial contender around. See Giannis, Wemby, Jokic, Embiid, and many others. Even 2nd banana bigs like KAT and AD help make it easier for the star of the team.

I've pushed ManMan as Dikembe with a jumper before he was a Sun so of course I took the bait. I can't recall being as hyped over a prospect. It's been well over a decade.
I used to think the Embid comparison was a pipe dream. I don't anymore. He is showing the work ethic and desire to drastically improve his game, and it's working.

I like a lot of our pieces, but the overall roster construction begs a lot of questions. You basically have 15 players that can legitimately play NBA minutes. That's far too many. We still need a better PG/distributor, and I don't think that'll ever be Green. I was hoping they'd move him for that type of player.

Adding Williams for 3 years and Bridges basically blocks our two most promising young players.

For too many years I have watched the Suns not have enough talent. Now people are worried we have too many guys on the squad. We haven't seen basically any of these guys play together when you think about it. Man Man and Fleming really didn't tally any minutes. Bridges, Peat, Kennard, Spencer, etc. haven't played at all for us. Green was just not that many games. The Suns coaches and front office don't know how this is all going to shake out. They have hopes and plans. We need to see what happens. How do we know this talent is going to work? Who knows who rises to the occasion and who doesn't? That's going to be the fun of this season. We have no idea what's going to happen. The fun is in the journey.

Exactly. It's great to see Suns finally assamble a roster full of talents to start a season. I vividly recall the season after KD aquisition. After KD, Book and Beal who was always hurt, the best was GA and RO, and a bunch of failed min player signings, after giving up Camara in the offseason.

I've thought this in years past (too much talent) but I've never seen it work out this way in reality.
