Both Book and Bridges said they want to play together again someday. If he becomes a UFA after next season I wonder if that’s a possibility? Although, if I am the Knicks there is no way I let him walk and likely do a sign and trade with some team out there after giving up all those picks for him. That also assumes Bridges would agree to it.

I'm not one for chasing after a player only for sentimental reasons, but I wouldn't mind it happening if it worked out. Times and personnel have changed. The Suns should be more concerned about putting a quality product on the court. Booker also wanted to play with Karl-Anthony Towns so that trade might have been available if the Suns were patient.

Hopefully the Suns ownership and front office look before they leap next time.

"The Suns just ended their second season with their Big 3 of Booker, Durant and Beal. The three haven’t even played 82 games together – 45-33 record in 78 games – in two years." - duane rankin

Reality is i'm not sure what the FO was thinking considering the amount of games each player played missed prior to all three being on the suns together, although KD did play a lot more games here than expected.

That's awesome. I wonder if the kid realized who he was at first. It didn't seem like it.

There probably was a shock factor involved. I doubt few celebrities stop at lemonade stands.

So, to all of us worried that Ishbia is pretty much calling the shots, we now have open confirmation. Great!
I thought you were being overly dramatic for a while when you’d say there’s no way we can be good for at least a decade. My bad there. I now think you might have been conservative with that take.

This is bad. Like… really bad.

It gives me no joy to have been right in this case. But Ishbia basically took out a second mortgage in order to gamble his future on one spin of the roulette wheel, and once it missed, there was nothing to fall back on.
